Steve Clarkson

MANAGING DIRECTOR

BEng CEng MIStructE

Steve has been a prominent Consulting Engineer in the Midlands for a number of years having graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 1994. Steve became a Chartered Engineer with the Institute of Structural Engineers in 2000. Steve is responsible for the overall management of C2C as well as maintaining a ‘hands-on’ approach in leading projects of all values.

Karl Jervis

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR

MEng CEng MIStructE

Karl is a highly respected Engineer throughout the region having worked for Local and International consulting engineering practices for over 15 years. Karl graduated from the University of Manchester in 2003 and became a Chartered Engineer with the Institute of Structural Engineers in 2012. Karl is project lead and manages a team of Technical staff to deliver projects across all sectors and values.

Tim Wright

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR

BEng IEng AMIStructE

Tim is a highly regarded Engineer having worked in consulting engineering practices for over 20 years during which time has built up a wealth of local knowledge. Tim graduated from Coventry University in 1997 and became an Associate Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers in 2006. Tim is responsible for delivering projects from feasibility stage through to detailed design and site implementation.

Josh Maughan

SENIOR ENGINEER

BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering

Josh graduated form the University of Manchester in 2013 and now has over 10 years’ experience within the construction industry. Over these years he has gained valuable experience in all types of projects including domestic, commercial, industrial and education building. Josh joined C2C in 2023 and is responsible for the project management and design of various sized projects within the office.

Akalanka Chandrasiri

STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

Msc

Akalanka has spent over 12 years working overseas gaining professional engineering experience working in Consultant Management, Site Coordination, Planning, Structural Design, Structural detailing and Resident Engineer working on various prestigious high rise projects in Sri Lanka.  He joined C2C in 2021 and with his experience of British Standards, used extensively in Sri Lanka, he has been able to adapt quickly and apply his skills to more diverse projects across different sectors within the business.

Sam Pattison

SENIOR ENGINEER

BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering

Sam is a highly competent Engineer, who joined C2C following a his studies.  Achieving a BEng 1st class honours degree in Civil Engineering, Sam has been with C2C since 2019 gaining an array of experience and skills over the years which showed in his degree result.  Sam is now working towards Chartership with the help of his colleagues.

Sam Walker

SENIOR ENGINEER

MEng (Hons) GIStructE

Sam graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2021 having obtained a first class masters degree in Civil and Structural Engineering.  During this time, he completed a Year in Industry with an international engineering consultancy.  Sam worked with C2C previously prior to his graduation, reinforcing his passion for structural analysis and design. His enthusiasm is reflected in his approach to engineering and his drive to progress within the industry.

Steve Jeffreys

SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEER

IEng MICE MInstLM MInstRE FIHE

Steve entered the construction industry in 2014 after serving 6 years in the Armed Forces as a Royal Engineer. Having started as a Structural and Civil Technician, he was worked his way up to becoming a Professionally Qualified Incorporated Civil Engineer with the ICE. Steve joined C2C in early 2023 as the Civils Lead, where he brings a wealth of knowledge of drainage and highways design in all sectors, predominantly the residential sector. Steve is responsible for delivering the Civil Engineering aspect of all projects and growing the ever-expanding civils team with the right people.

Jasmine Gillatt

CIVIL ENGINEER

BSc (Hons) Civil Engineering

Jasmine graduated in 2022 with a BSc(Hons) Civil Engineering degree from Nottingham Trent University. Since graduating she has been working in consultancy and joined C2C in 2024 to bring her invaluable experience to the Civil Engineering Department working alongside Steve Jeffreys. Jasmine provides client liaison, highway and drainage authority technical submissions, technical calculations, sustainable drainage designs and drawings for both Drainage and Highways projects including low rise / multistorey residential and large commercial developments. She is competent in a variety of software including AutoCad, Site3D, Civil3D, MicroDrainage, Causeway FLOW.

Phil Ellett

PRINCIPLE ENGINEERING TECHICIAN

HNC Civil Engineering

Phil is a qualified Civil and Structural Engineering Technician with significant years of engineering experience. He has considerable knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit is able to produce detailed Construction drawings as well as structural BIM Level 2 models with appropriate Level of Detail, collaborative output and sharing design models. With a wide range of engineering knowledge and a multi-disciplinary outlook Phil brings cross-sector best practice and a quality of work that is second to none.

Steve Greatbatch

SENIOR CAD AND BIM TECHNICIAN

HNC Civil Engineering

Steven manages the CAD office and has been a technician in the field for over 10 years. He is HNC qualified in Civil Engineering and is skilled with AutoCAD and Revit.

Nigel Edge

SENIOR CAD TECHNICIAN

BSc (Hons) Building Surveying

Having graduated from Staffordshire University in 1999 with a Building Surveying Degree, Nigel entered the Structural and Civil Engineering industry straight from university.  Developing from the detailing side as a technician.  Nigel joined C2C in 2023, he brings a wealth of Knowledge in all the sectors of Civil and Structural Engineering including drainage and external works design, reinforced concrete detailing and steel/masonry framed buiding detailing.

Michael Shaw

CAD TECHNICIAN

HNC in Mechanical Engineering

Michael is a Structural and Civil Engineering Technician and has been in Engineering for over 45 years. He is HNC qualified in Mechanical Engineering with full Technological Certificate in product design and is skilled with AutoCAD, Unigraphics NX and Solidworks.

Oana Carpenter

CAD TECHNICIAN

Degree in Architecture

Oana graduated in 2012 from the Ion Mincu university of Architecture and urban Planning with an Intergrated Masters Degree in Architecture.   She has experience in working with a large range of CAD software like Rhino, Grasshopper, AutoCAD and Revit.

Oana will be starting a Master of science course in Constructiuon Science and Management.

Larissa Jeffreys

CAD TECHNICIAN

Larissa joined C2C in July 2023 after a change of career. Larissa helps the civil engineering team with hydraulic calculations and civil engineering drawings. Larissa is working towards her submission for her EngTech qualification through the institution of Civil Engineers.
