A steel transfer grillage used to support heavy IT equipment and transfer concentrated loads away from an existing floor slab which would otherwise have been overloaded. Restricted access via. a goods lift meant that steelwork elements installed above 8^th floor level had to be kept short and spliced together. C2C were responsible for steel member design, connection design and coordination with M&E equipment.
